The new “Look Back Longer” campaign by Joie Baby is in my opinion – fantastic.
The video above has many qualities you look for in a campaign. It is short so that you don’t get lost in ‘too much info’, it’s enjoyable and educational and I think one of the things that also made me literally bounce “YESSS!” in my seat – it had a completely correctly fitted child in the seat! How often have we not seen videos where “parents” are putting the child in the seat – or fitting the seat, and the straps are too loose? Not on properly and so forth? Too many times. How often have we not tried to reason with the media about this – about how extremely important it is to get the “little things” right? That it doesn’t actually matter that “the car was stationary and wasn’t going anywhere because it’s a photo shoot” or “the kid was only in there for 5min”- because to someone who reads an article or who watches an educational video – what they see is what they think would be correct. So I was absolutely smiling like a bright sunny morning when I saw this video!
